Our Hospitalists

In order to maximize the care you provide your patients, Lakeside Community Healthcare offers hospitalist care at many of our affiliated hospitals. Our hospitalists are all board certified in internal medicine, some with subsequent certification, and are experienced in the management of care for our hospitalized patients

Should you choose to work with a hospitalist, your patients will be managed throughout the entire continuum of hospital care, from the moment your patient is admitted to the time of discharge. The result is prompt and efficient care for your patient. During the course of the patient’s hospital stay, the hospitalist coordinates all aspects of the patient’s care, while keeping the primary care physician apprised of the details. Upon discharge, the primary care physician resumes patient care.

The Lakeside Community Healthcare hospitalist program provides primary care physicians with the ability to focus their attention on their office practices, while at the same time knowing that their in-hospital patients are receiving the best care possible.
