Rimma Shaposhnikov, M.D., received her medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Shaposhnikov completed her residency in internal medicine, as well as her fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles County Hospital.

Dr. Shaposhnikov specializes in gastroenterology and hepatology. She is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Southern California Society of Gastroenterology.

Her interests include women's health, hepatology and motility disorders.
