Board Certified: Cardiology
Roger On, M.D., received his medical degree from Tufts University in Boston. He completed his cardiology training at the University of California, Los Angeles-San Fernando Valley Program.
Dr. On has practiced and taught cardiology in the San Fernando Valley for 26 years. He continues to teach as an assistant clinical professor of medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles Geffen School of Medicine.
In addition to his experience in interventional cardiology, Dr. On has developed a keen interest in the prevention of cardiac disease by aggressive treatment of lipid abnormalities and hypertension and speaks regularly in the medical community on these subjects to physicians, nurse practitioners and critical care nurses.
Dr. On is a member of numerous medical societies, including the American College of Cardiology, the Los Angeles County Medical Association, the California Medical Association, the Society for Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging and the American Society of Echocardiography. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the chairman of credentials committee and director of the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center Electrographics Department.
