W. Lee Bailey, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I., received his medical degree from Yale University. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at the Cornell University Medical Center (The New York Hospital and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center).
 Dr. Bailey has been a practicing interventional cardiologist in the San Fernando Valley and Beverly Hills areas since 1993. Dr. Bailey moved to Los Angeles in 1989 for cardiology fellowship training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He was privileged to serve as Chief Fellow of Cardiology during his final year, 1992. Afterwards, he was invited to train for an additional year in interventional cardiology at the Mid-America Heart Institute associated with St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City. He worked directly under the mentorship of Dr. Geoffrey Hartzler, a leading pioneer in this field.
Dr. Bailey is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (F.A.C.C.) as well as a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (F.S.C.A.I.). His expertise includes the newest aspects of interventional cardiology. Over the past decade, he has also developed a keen interest in risk factor modification and preventative cardiac disease.
